This belt is made of densely wound wire of a flat section spiral. The alternating left and right spirals are joined by perpendicular transverse wires. The transverse wires are either ended with a loop, bent inwards the belt or welded. The type of ending usually depends upon the transverse wires diameter: loops or bending for thinner wires and welding for thicker ones.
