The screen surface is formed by wires of a wedge-shaped cross-section which are welded to transverse wires. The screen has a precise slot size and a perfectly smooth working surface. On top of that, the screen is very stable, can be armoured and its working area can be further reinforced.
This screening system is designed mainly for dewatering and purging of sand, rubble, coal and other moist materials. The screen cannot be disassembled but, on the other hand, it represents a cheaper alternative of wedge wire screens.
Slot size: from 0.05 to approx. 10 mm
The section of the wedge wire is chosen according to the type and abrasiveness of the sorted material.
