Description

This belt represents the very basic design of a metal wire belt. It is made of one-sided spiral wires (either left or right) entwined with each other. The belt is edged either by welding or bending.

Characteristics

• big open area comparing to other types of wire spiral belts
• suitable for small loads only: at higher loads the belt tends to stretch lengthwise and to narrow at the same time

Application

As metal partitions for lifting platforms to prevent unauthorized access, as sides for filtering belts (deep fryers), as an inter-filter insert, in architecture etc.
